You would think that with all the feet and nails a tech works with that they would use gloves but some do and some don't. It also depends on the shops policies. Using gloves would help in lessening the spread of fungus and disease, but it is really the preference of the nail tech.Is a pedicure done better when the nail tech does it with or without gloves on?
Without the gloves....Is a pedicure done better when the nail tech does it with or without gloves on?
without.

Do you think my boyfriend would like a gift certificate for a pedicure?
Why or why not?Do you think my boyfriend would like a gift certificate for a pedicure?
Sure, why not.
I know my GF wants me to get one. she says my toes tear her up...Do you think my boyfriend would like a gift certificate for a pedicure?
So ignore everyone else and take the one guy who says yes. Not a good decision missy.
Well, why not? I think it would be a great gift, you could go with him and have a laugh. Maybe you could also give him a small present in addition to that, and have the pedicure as a joke gift. (That is, if it's a birthday) It doesn't have to be expensive - They say it's the thought that counts!
Try and see. If someone gave me a gift certificate for one, I'd try it. He probably wouldn't get one on his own, but with a gc, and possibly you going with him, he probably would. He might enjoy the results enough to keep on having them, so consider possible future costs.
probably not...unless he considers himself to be metrosexual. My husband would have never wanted that but he got a pedi on vacation last summer because it was included in our spa package. He won't admit it, but I thi nk he kinda liked it. I personally think pedis need to be left for the women..
usually no, but i took my boyfriend in for a few pedicures and he ended up loving them. he would never go alone, he always wants me there with him. so unless he's already had a pedi, he probably wouldnt appreciate it as much :/
I think that would depend on your husband. I he lives in Arkansas, drives a pick-up, and carries a gun I'd say no. If he has a white-collar job and takes time to get ready I'd say yes. If he is in between I'd say maybe.
Sure. Then you can get him some heels and a red dress.
Just kidding. If it's from his girlfriend, he's sure to love it :-D
He may feel a teensy bit emasculated... just a warning
:-D
If your boyfriend is metrosexual then maybe he'll like it. Otherwise don't give this as a gift to a guy.
I highly doubt that one. Maybe if it was for something that would interest him, like one for movies, games, music, etc., etc.
depends if he likes getting pampered...if hes one of those guys that dont like those sort of things then no he wont but if he does then yes he will
No, probably not. Because guys aren't usually into that kind of stuff.
No, that is something that could be considered quite feminine
Well, it's hard to say because we don't know him, does it seem like something he personally would like?
I don't know because I don't know him. But he might take it the wrong way and think you think he needs a pedicure!
Well, some guys might....you know him better than we do. If he likes to hunt or fish on the week-ends , I would say no.
yes he would love it! It would be one of the best gifts ever.
Probably not...guys do not style their toenails.
No...
no, cause he's not a girl
duh
No it's not a macho guy thing. A message Yes!
nope

How do you do a home pedicure?
Soak feet in a tub of warm water for 15 minutes. Cut nails straight across and then file any rough edges off...Use a cuticle oil or even olive oil will work around the cuticles and massage in. Use a exfoliator to remove dead skin cells from heels and toes. Rinse and apply a nice lotion. (If you have an in-grown nail you must seek professional help )
I gave myself a really bad pedicure, what shoul i do?
I bought a callius remover, the one with the blade, well I never done it before.
Now I have all these scars and scrapes on my bottom of my feet. And it hurts to stand!! Uhhh what should i do?
I have to run on wednesday.I gave myself a really bad pedicure, what shoul i do?
ooh!! bad idea. Go get neosporin and mederma, then band-aid all over!!! They won't completely heal but they will get better by wednesday, re-apply and re-bandage twice a day, in the morning and evening. They will get better. good luck running!! lol, i hate running...I gave myself a really bad pedicure, what shoul i do?
ugh ive done that before.. im in cross country. it hurt like the dickens lol.
so try to soak your feet in warm water for a while, don't walk around to much Just rest. after you soak your feet put lotion on them and then put a sock on to lock in the moisture. stay in bed for a few hours so you don't irritate them anymore.
-oh and when you run on wednesday, put some powder (gold bond works the best, if you have it)in your shoes, and wear thick socks so your feet aren't rubbing across your shoes, causing more irritation.
Well I would use some antiseptic wash or spray to stop infection and put some plasters on the worst of the cuts. Next day, use the antiseptic again, wait till its dry and then rub in some moisturizer. Keep doing this till Wednesday. Apply the plasters again, and some cushioned socks. If it's too bad still, you may have to pull out! Hope this helps :)
stop the bleeding and make sure there are not any really bad scrapes, or else go to the doctor! bandage your foot and lie down and elevate it above your heart to stop the bleeding.
Go to a professional and see if they can clean it up.

How do I get a pedicure without looking gay, I want light blue polish?
Go to the store and buy your own bottle of light blue polish for a dollar and paint them yourself. Or you can borrow your sister's polish while she's out. Even better if the cashier looks at you funny say the polish is for your girlfriend or something. How do I get a pedicure without looking gay, I want light blue polish?
Agree with pookiebea...
I get pedicure and manicure done all the time and color them sometimes.
It takes a bigger and more real man to go for what they want and don't care what others think than those who hides behind a fake facade and supress their hopes, dreams and desires. How do I get a pedicure without looking gay, I want light blue polish?
that cant be done without looking gay
A lot of men are getting pedicures now days. I would just find a shop and get one. If there is a special color polish you want, I would suggest that you take it with you as they sometimes don't have the colors that you want.
Getting a pedicure is not gay, but I would stick to no color.
Clear is the only color a guy can get without looking gay. Still, there is something kinda sexy about a guy who takes good care of his feet, so don't let that deter you.
you can do it yourself or you can just get it done at a shop and just don't act like you care what people think. plus pedicures are really nice and everyone who doesn't get one is just missing out
get clear and if you want light blue than just get it really really light and like noooo sparkles cuz thats gay..clear is deff the best but i know some guys that get colors that arent gay..just say your girlfreind or whatever made you get them done with her hehe
or which may not work is to start a trend and get all your guy freinds to do it with you so your not alone..hope i helped..xoalexpimple

Have you ever had a pedicure where they use fish? Would you have one?
I'd give a link to an article on it, but I tried once before and the question disappeared.Have you ever had a pedicure where they use fish? Would you have one?
i saw that and it looks VERY unsanitary to me. no thank you. what about the water they are using, and not to mention the fish, who the heck wants to eat dead skin ? where is peta on this ?Have you ever had a pedicure where they use fish? Would you have one?
I saw that story, that is a bit much in my opinion. I will stick to the ol' razor that would just feel strange I think little nibbles.
Eww...no...lol. I'd rather have a regular pedicure...My feet are so ticklish I'd think the fishie nibbles would make me laugh... lol
i wouldnt try it - no thanks

How much does it usually cost to get a full set of gel nails, and a regualr pedicure?
it depends on your location...some ppl charge anywhere from 30 and up i've seen others charge more...gels are more involved than acrylics....for a regular pedi ranges from 25 and better....and just an fyi--be sure you want gels because the ONLY way to remove them is drill them off(they're no acrylics were you can soak them off)How much does it usually cost to get a full set of gel nails, and a regualr pedicure?
actually it depends, if you were getting a silk or the acrylic kind..but usually they cost around like 25 dollars..but it really all depends were you gonna get your nails done..Because here in San Francisco it cost me 25 dollars to get my full set nails done and if I want them to be painted like in a french manicure I have to add two more dollars. In pedicure, usually they cost around 16 dollars..How much does it usually cost to get a full set of gel nails, and a regualr pedicure?
about $30!! :)
it really depends on where you live. i live in virginia and to get a pedicure usually cost $20. now to get a full set maybe $20-25. also depends on the length.
