Remove all existing polish from nails.
Soak hands/feet in warm soapy water (dishsoap is fine) for about 10 mins.
Use a nailbrush to clean and loosen the cuticles then rinse.
While the nails and cuticles are still soft, clip toenails straight across, clip ruff broken edges on the fingernails, and use the flat end of a nail file/wood cuticle stick/small screw driver, to push the back the cuticle - toe %26amp; finger nail.
When nails are dry, file the ruffness %26amp; sharp corners from the toe nails (maintain the straight across) and shape the finger nails to your preference.

Before step 10 you should add a base coat so the nail polish do not turn your nail yellow.
Here are some websites that might help you:
Well you need to have cuticle cream and oil and cutile sticks for both your hands and feet. Your fingers should be soaked in soapy water for about 10-15 minutes. After soaking put cuticle cream around your nail beds then push cuticles back and use scissors to cut of dead skin. Then you file your nails use a cream that goes on the bed and then use a buffer so the nails shine without any polish and then wash your nails and use a nails brush to be sure you remove all dirt and dust from nails and now you're ready to polish. For feet you need to soak your feet in water . you usually always keep the foot your not working on in the water. Feet are more difficult . You need to have a pumice stone to scrub your heels and sometimes you'll need to use a tool that's made by tweezerman that allows you to use a blade to scrap of dead skin, but you need to be careful with this. You can hurt yourself if you aren't careful. For your toenails use the cuticle stick to clean out nails and push cutcle back. I have never buffed my toe nails. After all that you should put lotion on your feet and then use nail polish remove to remove the lotion from your toe nails and then your ready to polish. It's time consuming but it's kinda fun to do with friends. When I was young my mom got me and my sister beauty in a bucket and it contained some of the stuff you need but it was just fun. My Mom's a little over the top we even have a paraffin dip in our home.....but we have fun!!!
